Noelani Fishman is a creative technologist, visual storyteller, and designer working at the intersection of identity, environment, and human connection. Their practice explores how people construct meaning, both in relation to one another and in tension with the worlds they inhabit.

They work across branding, experiential media, and publishing, often combining narrative, research, and visual systems to create work that feels both intimate and immersive. Their approach is concept-driven, with a strong emphasis on art direction and storytelling as tools for shaping perception.

Noelani received their BFA in Communications Design (Illustration) with highest honors from Pratt Institute, alongside a minor in Philosophy. Currently, Noelani is  pursuing an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design, where their work focuses on branding, social design, and community-based perspectives.

They are a recipient of the New School Research Grant, supporting her investigation into queer identity and interactive storytelling for public-facing digital and print experiences .

Based in New York City, Noelani works as a freelance designer and is open to collaborations, commissions, and full-time opportunities.

Let’s build something that shifts perspective.
